Three Steps to Successful Web Projects

For eight years, Table XI has been building complicated web applications for small and medium-sized business. They have been sharing strategies they have learned to deliver the maximum ROI on your web investment:

1) Select the right vendor

  • Do you need a firm or "a guy"?
  • How do you know if they are any good?
  • Fixed bid or hourly billing?

    2) Build a foundation
  • Requirements gathering: why they draw blueprints before building houses.
  • Content Management Systems: never pay a developer to update content.
  • Analytics: don't guess who's coming to dinner.

    3) Bring your clients to you
  • What matters to Google (hint: it's not meta-tags)
  • Crucial differences between paid and organic search
  • Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, et al.
